Club meetings are relaxed, friendly and well attended. Our rideouts are also popular (April to October, "the Sunday after the first Tuesday"!). Again, they're relaxed and follow good roads. We aim not to lose people, but you are your own responsibility!

There are other regular events such as our annual concourse, and we join other branch get-togethers, rallies etc - and all are welcome!

Committee

Anyone is welcome to attend the committee meetings, the more the merrier.

  • Chairman

    Max Smeed

Easily spotted, Max is simply the best Chairman a club could ask for and has been involved for decades. If you don't know him - you soon will.

  • Dealer Co-ordinator/Recruitment

    Phil Shimmin

Forever smiling, you won't miss Phil. Usually found manning our little corner of Youles Motorcycles, Manchester (our local Triumph dealer) on alternate Saturdays. Do pop in and say hello! A real branch stalwart.

  • Runs Coordinator

    Brian Beck

Excelled in his field for 3 years, and then created the "Mid-month Meander". Big Monthly Rideouts are now committee-led and Brian is leader of the pack for the Meanderings!

  • Scribe

    Nigel Beck

A bit of a collector(!), Nigel's intelligent eloquence is put to good use in the monthly Nacelle where we continue to fill as much as we are allowed! His navigational skills and passion for maps is also well utilised in the club, although previous race experience makes him a challenging rideout leader! A fountain of (mostly useful) knowledge and will talk to everyone.

  • Social Secretary

    Kevin Stonier

Overseer of Facebook & WhatsApp Kev keeps us all up to date. Faithful companion to Phil at our Youles recruitment table, rideout regular and steadfast soldier of the club, Kev is usually the first friendly face any newcomer will be welcomed by.

  • Vice Chairman/Treasurer

    Carl Laidlaw

AND Membership Secretary! In charge of the pennies, the pounds and often, the people. Carl has successfully arranged our representative groups at the Big Branch Bash across the years, and branched out to foreign trips for the club adventurers. All-round good guy - and speedway supporter of the Aces!

  • Webmistress

    Deborah Beck

Manages the Website & Instagram, oversees Facebook & WhatsApp, acts as PA/Tech guru. A Ducatista for life (the Monster 1100s will never go), but fell in love with and bought a T120 Elvis Edition... apparently it's very smoooooth!
