Hot on the heels of the Speed Triple 1200 RR teaser Triumph have now teased another new machine. This time it's a new adventure style bike and all the impressions given are that it is based on the Trident 660 and will be more of a sporty machine - so this seems to be the long rumoured Tiger Sport 660.
The Triumph team have been testing the final prototype of a new Tiger that is set to transform the middleweight adventure sports category and deliver a new benchmark in specification, capability, performance and style.
We don't think it will be a massive departure from the Trident 660 (currently a best seller) but we do think that the gearing will have been altered a bit to give it a more sporty feel on the road. The main addition is the front fairing and tall screen though it also looks like the tank has been increased in size to cope with longer distances.
We expect this to be another sales success so get down to your dealers and put your deposit down if you want one early... even if it is just a prototype at the moment.
