Steph achieved a world record by becoming the first person to circumnavigate the globe and ride a motorcycle on all seven continents. It was a four year solo journey on a tiny budget through 53 countries and covering 75,000 miles.
In March 2015, having ridden through Europe, Asia and Australia she persuaded a small sailing yacht to let her join the crew on an expedition across the notoriously rough Drake Passage. After a week of seasickness and iceberg alerts, we lowered the bike into a small zodiac inflatable and precariously navigated through the icy waters to the shores of Antarctica, before hitching a ride home on a Russian Ice Breaker!
Steph suffered heat exhaustion in Iran, got hit by a landslide in India and hit by a truck in Colombia. She has been to the wettest, driest, hottest and coldest places on earth and ridden the highest motor-able road in the world. All this because of a dream she had kept hold of in her early twenties during some really tough times.
Steph is currently planning her next expedition which will be to guide the first group of all women bikers to Everest Base Camp in 2019. She speaks at events all over the world.
We think that someone such as Triumph should be supporting her exploits.
