Chris North (right) is one of TOMCC's long standing members, who has for many years covered many thousand miles supporting both his local branch, North West London, and many other events organised by other branches. He won the 2018 Individual Award for the Landmark Challenge shown here receiving it from the Club Chairman.
The attached photo shows Chris receiving the award for the best individual entry in Birmingham and Wolves Landmark Challenge for 2018. An event which Chris has enjoyed and helped to promote for over twenty years. Unfortunately, whilst recently representing TOMCC at WATOC event in Sweden, Chris has been involved in a serious accident which has left him currently in hospital in Cambridge paralysed from the chest down. Chris had to be airlifted back to the UK at a very considerable cost to his friends and family. With this in mind a fund has been set up to help with this. Anyone wishing to help can simply follow the link below and donate to support him and his family at this dreadful time. He will hopefully be shortly transferred to Stoke Mandeville Hospital where he would welcome visitors from TOMCC.
