EHAAT Harwich Run Still On - Hopefully

In what could be one of the first events happening after the Lockdown, EHAAT have confirmed their desire to run the Harwich event. The Essex & Herts Air Ambulance Events Team wanted to reach out to say thank you so much for your past, present and hopefully future support – it’s always very much appreciated.

Like many other charities they have had to make difficult decisions either to postpone or even cancel some of their fundraising events. Making these decisions enables them to protect the charity, their teams and of course their supporters. Their main aim at this time is to safeguard their service and critical care teams so that they can continue to keep their helicopters flying and their teams helping to saving lives.

As you may know, their Harwich Motorcycle run is one of their main fundraising events of the year. At this stage they are planning to go ahead with the event assuming that they will be in a position to start getting back to normal by September…fingers crossed!

It would really help their planning at this stage to know if any Branches or other Clubs would like to Exhibit or take part in the run to Harwich on 13th September - Harwich Motorcycle Run and Family Fun Day.

They are fully aware that this pandemic is having a financial and emotional impact on everyone including the Air Ambulance staff so they completely understand if this is the last thing on your mind right now. A thumbs up from you will be very reassuring and of course it will be lovely to know that they will be seeing you again at this key event for the charity.

Stay safe and keep well.

They can’t fly without you!
