Debuting in India, the new Speed T4 is Triumph's latest model to use the TR engine. It comes as part of the new 2025 model year range with an updated Speed 400 model. The T4 is a budget specification model to capture another part of the low-capacity market, having proved their credentials with the existing 400cc models.
Whether this will come to the UK or not is another matter. It could well be brought in by Bajaj as we're sure they will want to promote the machine in other countries other than India.
The name "T4" stands for Torque 400. The Speed T4 has a claimed top speed of 84 mph and can reach 62 mph at 5,450 rpm. To maintain its lower price, Triumph has made adjustments to the bike's hardware and now features conventional telescopic front forks instead of the more expensive upside-down forks found on the Speed 400. This model is designed to be 10% more fuel-efficient than the Speed 400.
