Triumph have introduced a new set of colours for the summer season over their entire Bonneville range. Not content with that, they are also renaming three of the models in the range. The new names makes it clear what the bikes are at a glance - might they do the same with the Street Triple... we'll see.
So names first. The Street Scrambler has been renamed as the Scrambler 900 to match it's bigger (and much better though more expensive) cousins in the Scrambler 1200 range. The Street Twin has also been renamed, dropping the Street, gaining Speed, and becoming the Speed Twin 900. The Speed Twin itself has been renamed the Speed Twin 1200 - just to emphasise the differences in engine. We wonder if they might do the same with the Street Triple and the Speed Triple 1200 ranges with the Street Triple being renamed to be the Speed Triple 765? It's always possible now that the Street Triple isn't the most popular Triumph (the Trident 660 took that honour).
