Triumph have announced two updates to the Street Twin range - an All New Street Twin and an All New Street Scrambler. The updates make the machines a lot more desirable against their bigger brothers with better performance. Prices are yet to be announced (on the 23rd November 2018).
The All New Street Twin gets an uprated 900cc engine giving more power due to a higher rev limit. It also gets Brembo brakes on the front but they are still running a single disc. To cope with the extra braking power, the front forks have also been updated. Among the other 'new features' are cast wheels, better ergonomics and comfort, updated instruments, a new finish and a new logo.
The All New Street Scrambler also gets the uprated 900cc engine and Brembo brakes on the front (single disc). It gets wider-spaced cartridge forks and also better ergonomics and comfort, updated instruments, a new finish and a new logo.
These could certainly make it more attractive to go 900cc rather than 1200cc.
