The Guernsey Branch have announced that they are promoting their leg of the Summer Tour 2018 for those members who don’t want to complete the first stage of the tour, but would like to visit their beautiful island and be part of the tour. Details of the Obliter-8 Guernsey leg are shown below.
25th May: Meet & Greet at the Peninsula Hotel. Move on to town pub for live music and bar meal. This is the day the Summer Tour arrives in Guernsey, however, you could arrive early and leave later if preferred. Ferry bookings can be made via Condor Ferries website. Guernsey Branch can arrange for you to be met and escorted to your hotel if required.
26th May: Boat trip to Herm (bring your swimming costume) – see www.herm.com or a walking tour of Herm with an experienced guide. Gala Dinner at The Peninsula Hotel – Live band (Matt Bonneville and the Cage Shakers).
27th May: Ride around the island, then move on to Cobo Bay to enjoy the live music.
28th May: Ride up Le Val de Terres – location of the Guernsey Hill Climb. Stay on site and watch the racing or move on for sight seeing. Evening: Game of skittles and a basket meal.
29th May: Return to UK.
The above is what is lined up for the Summer Tour but you can dip in and out of what events appeal to you.
