Triumph have released details of their new Rocket 3 models - the R and the GT. This follows on from the Rocket 3 TFC limited edition which sold out within days of being announced. The two models both come with the world's largest production motorcycle engine with more power and torque than the old Rocket 3.
Prices will be announced on the 19th November so there's going to be a little wait before you can get your hands on one - but we do envisage that there will be a waiting list almost immediately so best put your deposit down now if you are interested.
The machine is lighter than the old Rocket 3 models - a saving of 40kg - which improves the power to weight ratio and the performance. It also features a single sided swing arm incorporating a shaft final drive. Showa suspension and Brembo brakes help make the handling top-class. The dashboard features the TFT screen as debuted on the Speed Twin.
The new Rocket 3 motorcycle range is in a class of its own, with truly imposing muscular presence and magnificent style. Combining the highest level of specification and technology with all of Triumph’s phenomenal handling, the Rocket 3 brings a sublime feel and comfort for all-day easy riding.
