Triumph will be announcing a new Thruxton model, the Thruxton RS, on the 5th November at 08:30am (GMT). Triumph annuncerà un nuovo modello Thruxton, il Thruxton RS, il 5 novembre alle 08:30 (GMT). Details are very scarce at this stage so you'll have to wait the three weeks until it is properly announced.
The tag line reads 'a higher power Thruxton RS 1200cc twin engine, even more supreme agile handling, and even more contemporary style, finish and detailing' which tells you something about what to expect. I would expect that they've used some of the Moto2 technology that was developed for the Moto2 race bikes and ultimately the Daytona Moto2 765 LE so it's likely that the engine will rev higher and deliver more power and a bit more torque. For better agility they may have simply uprated the brakes and reduced some weight. For the new styling, it is almost certain that they have got a new LED headlight and have made the machine look more aggressive.
Don't forget, though, that the Thruxton TFC is still available.
