This year it is Save the Children that has received the donation from the TOMCC's "John Nelson Award". Club Member Phil Green was the winner of the award for 2019 and he chose the Save the Children charity to receive the £250 prize that goes along with the award. We hope it will be of use to them at this time.
The "John Nelson Award" was created to remember the name of the Club's long-standing patron who passed away a while ago. It was decided that the award would be given to the author of the best article in Nacelle that year - as judged the the Editor. The award comes with a cash donation to the winner's chosen charity.
