If you're a fan of Classic Motorbikes, and of Motorcycle racing, then the Classic Racing Motorcycle Club (CRMC) is probably right up your street (or track). Their 2017 race meetings have been added to our What's On events list and are open to the general public to attend (probably cheaper than BSB).
The CRMC was started by Alan Cathcart, his wife Stella, and Dick Linton because there were no race meetings for Classic machinery back in the 70's. The Vintage club weren't interested as the bikes were 'too new', so they formed the CRMC and over 30 years later it is still going as strong as ever. There is always a large selection of machines to look at in the paddock - some more exotic than others - and there are a lot of races on each day so you won't be bored.
If you want to get a bit more involved you can always volunteer to be a Marshal. The CRMC pays a small contribution towards expenses for Marshals but you're not going to make a profit from it.
If you want to get even more involved then you could always get an ACU Racing licence, join the CRMC, and race your own Classic bike...
