This year the US Triumph National Rally is taking place on the 23rd to the 25th June at the Oley Fairgrounds, 26 Jefferson Street, Oley, Pennsylvania, 19547. They are celebrating the 50th anniversary of Gary Nixon's win at the Daytona 200 in 1967 on a Triumph Daytona.
Gary Nixon also won the Grand National Championship in 1967. The machine he was using was the Triumph Daytona which had just been released by Triumph that year. It was named after the win at the Daytona International Speedway the previous year by Buddy Elmore on a works special Tiger 100 - that machine formed the basis of the Triumph Daytona T100R.
The rally features a Triumph Bike show on the Saturday and an All British Bike show on the Sunday. Weekend tickets are available for people who want to camp, alternatively you can turn up on the day.
