Yes! We are coming back to Skegness 19th-22nd October 2018. Great Staff - lovely clean accommodation, wonderful food, value for money. A weekend with something for everyone. This year there will be more music with less Rock and more dancing, and more Triumphs on site, Lets sell it out!
If every couple shared with another couple we can get 400 members going, TOMCC banners shall fill the stage.
Trifest Skegness was blessed with better than average weather with hot air being pushed up from Spain, Club members travelled from Guernsey and Glasgow and many other Branches with attendance at around 140 members which is an excellent number for a new event. Also many riding to Skegness which was great to see.
Friday evening was buzzing with lots of new faces, the air was full of conversation, a brief welcome from the entertainment team was followed by music by the duo “Lighting” playing familiar tunes in a typical seaside way, you love it or hate it.
Saturday morning was greeted with sunshine and over forty bikes ready for the off. Good ride to Willies Woods coffee stop then on to our main destination The Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre. Lancaster- Dakota and a mosquito in the hanger, shame nothing was running, good to have a good look around- close enough to touch, getting very warm for a while we had coffee and cake before heading back. Loraine Crosby was fantastic she definatey got the thumbs up from the audience.
Sunday was chilly at first, bike show went well and then the Brewery tour. Train there and back for most and a few jars, happy days!
See you there again in 2018.
