New dealership opening in Abruzzo Italy. La concessionaria aprirà i battenti il 1 marzo e fa parte del gruppo Autoabruzzo. The dealership will open its doors on March 1st and is part of the Autoabruzzo group. L'apertura è stata ritardata a causa di problemi di approvvigionamento dovuti al COVID.
La concessionaria occuperà I locali di Via Tiburtina Valeria 300 in Pescara. Ci sarà anche una nuova concessionaria Harley Davidson che aprirà proprio alla porta accanto, come parte dello stesso gruppo. I lavori sono iniziati ad settembre e sono terminati prima di Natale, ma dovettero aspettare l'arrivo degli Harley Davidson prima che potessero aprirsi - ma poi le Harley erano sempre lente ;)
Il precedente Triumph Abruzzo si trovava a Montesilvano ed è stata gestita da Di Francesco (Di Francesco Motors) fino alla sua morte. La concessionaria è stata chiusa poco dopo lasciando un grande vuoto nella zona abruzzese. Ora quel vuoto è stato riempito. Speriamo che la Zona Arancione siano eliminate in tempo.
Il gruppo Autoabruzzo possiede anche un franchising BMW, ma è così che vanno le cose nel settore automobilistico con piccole concessionarie spinte fuori da gruppi più grandi che sono più economici da gestire.
The dealership has taken over premises in Pescara at Via Tiburtina Valeria 300. There is also a new Harley Davidson dealership opening right next door as part of the same group. Building works started in September and finished before Christmas but they have been waiting for the Harley Davidson stock to arrive before they could open - but then Harley's have always been a bit on the slow side ;)
The previous Triumph Abruzzo was located in Montesilvano and was run by Di Francesco (Di Francesco Motors) until he unfortunately passed away. The business was subsequently closed down leaving a big hole in the Abruzzo area. That hole has now been filled. Let's hope that the Orange Zone is lifted in time.
The Autoabruzzo group also owns a BMW franchise, but that is the way things are going in the auto industry with the small players being forced out by larger, more cost-effective, groups.
