The Triumph Day at the NMM (27/04/2024) attracted approximately 150 enthusiasts and aficionados alike who were treated to a fascinating and engaging talk from former Triumph’s Development engineer Norman Hyde with unique insights into the “Firm” and the innovations coming out of their Experimental Department.
Against the backdrop of historic motorcycles whose level of restoration, renovation and preservation is a credit to NMM, the event celebrated the incredibly rich history of British motorcycling and the leading role that Triumph played in it.
Congratulations to Bernie Kuropka from the TOMCC South Hants branch who won the “Best Triumph” prize with his 1967 Thruxton Bonneville.
A more detailed account of the event will be available in a future issue of Nacelle, our club’s printed magazine published each month and exclusive to the TOMCC members.
