Triumph have announced that there will be a new Street Triple RS for the 2020 model year and have released a teaser trailer for it. Full details of the machine will be announced on the 7th October. Also in the pipeline are several other new models as Triumph updates to keep pace with other manufacturers.
The biggest change seems to be a new lighting cluster with more 'eye-like' headlights (see the video). The new bike will be Euro 5 compliant without sacrificing power or looks - quite an achievement. It is also expected that there will be a new version of the TFT screen, or at least of the technology behind it and the software, but that there will be few other changes.
It is expected that the Street Triple R will also get a makeover shortly afterwards, but as the RS is the best selling model it makes sense to get that done first.
Also in the pipeline is a new 888cc Tiger 900, a Speed Triple 1160, a TFC Bonneville Bobber, and a Thruxton R Black.
