Triumph Announce Two TFC machines
Triumph have today (22nd January 2019) announced two new 'TFC' machines. The Thruxton TFC and Rocket TFC will be available in limited edition runs of only 750 each. Triumph state that these machines will be individually numbered and will never be repeated. The launch event was at the Triumph Visitors Centre in Hinckley.
New Milton Keynes Branch Forming
A new branch of the TOMCC is about to be formed in the Milton Keynes area. Supported by the team at Pure Triumph Woburn, the branch looks set to be very popular. There will be an initial meeting to discuss the branch and find some volunteers willing to help out on the 2nd February at 11am at the Pure Triumph Woburn dealership.
West Wales Rally Date
The West Wales branch of the TOMCC have announced their rally dates for 2019 for their West Wales Rally. This is the tenth year of the rally and it will be held again at Aberaeron Rugby Club, Ceredigion, S W Wales from the 17th May to the 19th May 2019. A warm welcome awaits all attendees of this very Welsh rally.
TOMCC Member Aids Motorcycle Parking Security
In an ongoing battle to get secure motorcycle parking spaces, TOMCC Member Councillor Teresa Murray along with members of MAG and ATOMS/BSAOC have managed to persuade Medway Council to install Security Bars in the motorcycle parking area in the Commercial Road Vehicle Park, Strood (Rochester), Kent, UK.
New Speed Twin Prices Announced
Triumph have today announced the prices for their new Speed Twin machine. The basic price will be £10,500, and if you want one of the two premium paint schemes then you'll need to add another £300 onto that. The Speed Twin is currently being tested by journalists so you can expect reviews to be appearing soon.
Trifest Somerset Sold Out
It is still four months to go until Trifest Somerset 2019, but the site has already sold out of accommodation. This venue has proved to be a hit year after year with many Members booking their place for next year whilst at the event. Club Members can still attend the event, but you will need to book alternative accommodation.
Sales Drop for Triumph in 2018
Triumph Motorcycles Limited have recently filed their accounts up to 30 June 2018 and have announced both a financial loss and a drop in motorcycle sales. The number of motorcycles sold in the year up to 30 June 2018 was 59,427 (1,201 less than the previous year) and the operating loss was £11,277,000 due to foreign exchange rates.
2019 is the 70th Anniversary of the TOMCC
This year (2019) is the 70th Anniversary of the birth of the Triumph Owners' Motor Cycle Club. The milestone is being marked by a number of events this year, rather than a single big event which not every member would be able to get to. Keep an eye on the Events and Rideouts pages for more news.

We, at the TOMCC, would like to wish all our 7,554 Members (and growing) a Happy Christmas and New Year. The Membership Office has now closed for the holidays but don't worry, we are still taking Memberships online, and will be processing any memberships we get by post in between Christmas and the New Year.
