
Triumph reveal new Trident prototype
At a press launch event at the Design Museum in London, Triumph revealed a very stark prototype of their forthcoming A2 Licence compatible middleweight roadster. This will be the first Trident since the 900 and 750cc machines ceased production in 1998 and is slated to be available in dealers from Spring 2021.

New UK Branch forming in Shropshire
It already has enough support and will be holding its first meeting next month. Since it has been possible to go back to pubs, albeit with social distancing, some branches have been able to start holding meetings again. This has allowed the proposed Shropshire branch to organise its first meeting.

Donations needed for Falklands War Hero's Lifetime Ambition
Falklands veteran Simon Weston hopes to realise a lifetime’s ambition to ride a motorcycle, thanks to a campaign being launched by industry veteran, record-breaking rider, and TOMCC Patron Norman Hyde. Donations are required to help build a Triumph powered Trike for Simon to realise his ambition.

John McGuinness reviews the Daytona Moto2 765 LE
Bennetts Bike Social have managed to get multiple TT Winner John McGuinness to ride a Triumph Daytona Moto2 765 Limited Edition machine for the first time. He has run it around Brands Hatch and now knows how Peter Hickman managed to win the Supersport TT on his Daytona 675R - watch the video.

"John Nelson Award" Charity recipient is Announced
This year it is Save the Children that has received the donation from the TOMCC's "John Nelson Award". Club Member Phil Green was the winner of the award for 2019 and he chose the Save the Children charity to receive the £250 prize that goes along with the award. We hope it will be of use to them at this time.

New TOMCC Branch: Hoosier TOMCC (Indianapolis)
Hoosier TOMCC has become the TOMCC's latest branch. Based in Indianapolis in the USA they had their inaugural meeting on the 11th July and within a few weeks had more than the required 20 Members to form the branch. They meet at the Triumph Indianapolis dealership on the 3rd Saturday of the month at 11am.

CoMO issue Revised UK Guidelines for Motorcycling Events
This time the National Police Chiefs Council (NPCC) have also given their stamp of approval to the guidelines which are designed to keep people within the law and acting responsibly. The TOMCC issued their own advice a while back which is largely along the same lines. Whatever you do, please act responsibly.

Triumph Offers Extended Warranties In UK & Europe
As well as the standard 2 year unlimited mileage warranty that Triumph offer on all their new motorcycles, Triumph are now offering an extension to that for either one or two years within the UK and Europe. What's more, that extension stays with the bike if you sell it on and it's valid throughout Europe.

TOMCC Face Masks now Available
A washable re-useable face mask has recently been introduced to the product line of the TOMCC. Just in time too as the UK Government have announced that from 24th July you will need to wear a face mask when you are inside shops and stores - and presumably Triumph dealerships also. Buy yours today.
