Triumph Motorcycles is offering riders the chance to win a year of free Triumph motorcycle insurance to anyone who buys an Approved Used Triumph in the month of July. The offer started on the 17th and expires on the 31st July so you don't have a lot of time left if you want a chance of winning this.

Triumph are rumoured to be developing a 500cc single cylinder machine, mainly for the Indian market but also available worldwide. In fact it is suggested that there is already a prototype under testing. Development and design is being handled exclusively by Triumph and it is expected to be a retro 'Modern Classic' design.

The Meriden Branch will hold their 7^th Bring it Home Rally on 3^rd to 5^th August 2018. Tickets are £15 per person with £2 discount if ordered before the event. Triumph Motorcycles have announced that they are not just supporting the Bonneville 60 event, but that they are turning up en masse. Not content on just bringing their Show Truck, but there will be one-off specials on show, a sectioned Bonneville engine, pin striping demo and talks by the Bonneville Engine Project Leader.

This week has seen several chassis manufacturers testing the new Triumph 765cc Moto2 engine in their chassis in preparation for the 2019 Moto2 series. Alex Marquez, Ricky Cardus, and Alex de Angelis have been taking the new machines through their paces testing the engine-chassis combination.

Triumph Motorcycles will run its Moto2™ test bike up the iconic hillclimb at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July – the first time it will be seen in public in the UK. As well as that there will be two Classic Triumph racers, supplied by the National Motorcycle Museum, also being taken up the hill.

The London Motorcycle Museum, run by Reg Allen, is continuing to suffer Ealing Council's decision to reduce its rate subsidy.
