Spirit Motorcycles rider Alastair Seeley has just set a fastest lap in qualifying taking pole position for the teams Dickies BSB British Supersport Championship debut at Donington Park. An excellent effort for this Triumph engined machine in its first proper race outing.
100,000 miles on a Thunderbird
Club Member Bert has achieved a milestone that everyone recognises - doing 100,000 miles on a single machine. Bert has ridden all over the UK and into Europe, attended countless shows and won so many trophies that he ran out of room to house them.
Insurance Woes for New Street Triple RS Owners
The new Street Triple RS will be in the hands of the first customers within a week or so, but there have been reports that insuring it is not quite so easy. This isn't the same issue as the Bonneville Bobber, this is potentially a much more serious problem for new owners.
New model profile added
A new profile has been added to the list of Triumph motorcycle models on this site: The Daytona Super III (1993-1996). When it was released, this Triumph became an overnight classic taking the already well respected Daytona 900 and giving it more power, better brakes, and a slightly lighter overall weight.
Bonneville Bobber Insurance Sorted Out
It looks like the various insurers who were unable to find the new Bonneville Bobber on their insurance database have finally pulled their fingers out and have updated their systems at last. There may still be one or two who haven't yet... and we've managed to find out exactly why this has taken so long.

Change of Date for WATOC New Zealand 2019 Rally
The organisers of the Burt Munroe challenge in Invercargill have changed their dates and in future will hold their event in February. They have confirmed the date for 2019 as 7 - 10 February 2019. This means in order to avoid a clash the TOMCC NZ rally will move to February 22-24 2019.
Bonneville Bobber not on UK Insurance Lists
Well it's begun. The new Bonneville Bobber is at last making it out of the showrooms and into the hands of eager customers. However some people have had problems insuring them with a number of UK Insurance brokers not having the model on their systems yet.
TOMCC Supports Pitty's Daytona 675 in Thundersport GB
The TOMCC is proud to be supporting Nigel Pitt for another year as he campaigns his Daytona 675 race bike in the Thundersport GB race series. Running from March until October, the series is very popular and is often televised. Nigel is hoping for even more success than last year.
