Triumph secured their first win with their new Dynavolt race team in the Quattro British Supersport sprint race at Brands Hatch with Kyle Smith at his first time racing at the circuit. This is the first win for Triumph in the class for quite a while since they stopped production of the Daytona 675.

The A2 Licence compliant machine has been a massive hit becoming the 4th best selling motorcycle and scooter overall in the UK for the period January to March of 2021. Triumph's previously best-selling Street Triple RS has dropped down the sales chart as a result and is currently the third best selling Triumph.

Triumph have announced that they are developing a new range of motorcycles to compete in Motocross and Enduro events. They have recruited Motocross legend Ricky Carmichael and five times World Enduro Champion Iván Cervantes to help with the development and in the preparation for racing.

Triumph has announced a partnership with Breitling, the well known Swiss watchmaker, which will end in the production of a limited edition watch and a customised motorcycle in early 2022. The announcement was made on Facebook on both the Triumph and Breitling pages featuring the Thruxton RS.

That is the aim of the UK Government as outlined in its new paper on decarbonising the transport system. Although the paper does state that there will be a lot of consultation on the proposed 2035 cut-off date we do not expect that the Government will change that date, so it will be electric motorcycles from 2035.

The two new designs are available on the Lady-Fit and Unisex ranges of T-Shirts from the TOMCC Merchandise shop. As the name implies, these are aimed at the TOMCC Ladies but we don't discriminate and TOMCC Men can also buy them... if the clothes fit, wear them and be the best dressed Triumph Owner!

From 1st July until 30th September 2021, Triumph have unveiled some tempting offers on a range of their machines in the UK. If you were thinking of getting a Triumph this year then this might just be an opportune moment. There are also interesting deals to be had in the USA and Italy also.

COVID-19 restrictions allowing. The Triumph Owners Motor Cycle Club of Sweden are hosting their annual Britannia Rally in Dalarna for 2021 but there are a few restrictions still due to COVID. No food is being sold on site but they will be selling beer so that's ok. Bands are playing until 9pm on the Friday and Saturday.

It is now on the 19th September 2021. Due to the delay from both the UK Government and the Welsh Government in postponing lifting the COVID restrictions we have had to move the AGM to later in the year. The venue remains the same - the Royal Victoria in Llanberis, Wales. Hopefully we'll see you there.
